Internship

At the moment I am working as an Intern at Final Cut Studio in Copenhagen. I am working as a Graphics Artist. Final Cut Studio is a studio that specialize in producing documentaries. My role is to help and support productions with graphics design. At the moment I am creating and designing an intro for a documentary about kids and their sports in certain countries. The intro is to set to last 28 seconds.

Zombie House



Started a new project. I have decided to make my old student house to a zombie house. My strategy is one room at the time, make a good looking picture and then move on to a new room. I got the UDK Engine setup and ready to import any finished object and textures.

Harry with an Attitude



This picture has been two weeks on the go. David Lindop (www.3dlindop.com) and I  has been wanted to create a picture together for a while now, and when our uni degree in Digital Arts came to an end we finally had two weeks before our landlord kicked us out of our student house, so we decided to go ahead with the picture. 

The baby is called Harry. Harry is a baby with an attitude. He just shot his teddybear and has now loaded his nerfgun with a bigger "bullet" to target you! So watch out :-) 

We looked at a lot of reference pictures to get inspiration and Victor Hugo Queiroz was a big research source for us. His work are truly amazing.

Kids Bike

Started a new project... Uni is now over and it's time for some pictures without guidlines :-) This is an asset for a picture me and my mate David Lindop is working on. The picture took me about 6 hours to make.

Another update

Another update of todays work. 

As you can see I did some changes to the skirt, I think this add a more female feel to her, and takes her away from my male warrior skirt. I decided to model the seams on her arm leather things and boots. This will be supported by a good texture job.

Next move, is the gums, teath, weapon and something to hold the weapons on her bag. 

Good day to ya all. :-) it's saturday, go out, I will be sat at home working. :-)

Female Warrior

An update of my work in progress with me female warrior.This warrior is related to my male warrior, so she need to have some look a like features, like ears, eyes, fingers, arms and feet. 

I still need some modelling to do. But its going forward in a phase where I can work in the small details, wich is something I really enjoy.

A quick update

Hi.

This is a little update of what I have been working on for the last two weeks. I decided to put my whole 3ds max environment into the UDK engine, so people could run around my Watsea Environment during my Exhibition this June 2012. 

The compressing of the video lowered the levels a bit, I'll keep that in mind for my final showreel.

The warrior



This is my final version. :-) I gotta attend to my other final project work. I still got a whole environment to finish up and texture the seahorse + make the queen character. So enough to spend my time on.

So close to the final version of my warrior. Forgive me for the bad copying of my sketches. I tried to make it cool with a soft glow

as you can see there have been a few changes from my original concept to final pose, but only for the good :-)

Hi all

Almost finished with the model. I'm nop to happy with the paint job in his head. So I'm going to add some more warrior feeling to it, some war paint maybe.

else; I think this character turned out alright. I think the texture work on his body got a nice look to it.

New update of my environment. Finished the hills in the background. Is now moving on the making some small hills on the main ground to make it "Not as flat"

This is the main character for my environment. I got some majo issues with my normal mapping. it shows seams where its not supposed too... This render is without normalMap, coz it looks BAAAD

So if I can't solve this, I will have to texture my way out of this.

Another update. I added in the lines to go with a seahorse, A pain in the ass. I had to do it all manually in 3ds max. but it worked out allright. I'm going to have a saddle on the bag, so that is going to take alot of attention away from the few spots I can see where the lines could be better....

The hands did work quit well, I think. Still need some refining on the shoulder bit.
